Any user can be made inactive by an account admin. Inactive users cannot log into HowToo, and will not count towards the account's total number of active seats or appear in learning reports.
Please note: Growth plans are charged for a minimum of 10 seats, even if the total number of active users is less than 10. I.e. a Growth plan with 8 active users and 2 inactive users, you will still be charged for the requisite 10 seats and can easily add two more users when you need to.
It is currently not possible to reduce the number of seats from the account settings. Please contact our team via firstname.lastname@example.org to request any reductions to the total number of paid-for seats in your account. We can also adjust and change your primary user, if you have only purchase one seat.
To deactivate a user:
- Navigate to the Admin Portal.
- Select 'Users' from the left-hand menu.
- Identify the user record to be deactivated, and select 'Edit' on the right-hand of the record.
- Select the toggle next to 'User is active' to toggle to 'User is inactive'.
- Select 'update details'.
