This guide shows you how to add learning outcomes directly in your lesson or through the lesson settings.
Add learning outcomes in the lesson
Learning outcomes should be added to the one of the first few blocks of any lesson. This allows learners to engage with the course and provides them with a roadmap for the learning experience.
- Navigate to the storyboard view of your lesson.
- Select 'Add new block'.
- Select a text block.
- Add your learning outcomes to this block by typing out each learning outcome in the text box provided.

Add your learning outcomes to each lesson, for future reference
- Navigate to the storyboard view of your lesson.
- Select 'Settings' in the top right menu.
- Under Outcomes, use the text-entry box to add your learning outcomes, one at a time.
- Select Add.
