Previewing a created lesson

Previewing a lesson allows you to view the lesson as it will appear to a learner.

Who can use this feature?

👀 Creators, primary admins, and admins

🏳️ Available on all plans

Contents of this article:

• Preview from the beginning of the lesson
• Preview starting from a specific block
• Preview from the editor view
• Exit back to editor view
• Exit back to storyboard view

To preview from the beginning of the lesson:

1. Navigate to the storyboard view of your lesson.
2. Select the Action button in the top right-hand of the screen.
3. Select Preview.

❗ Note: Previewing in this way will open a new tab in your browser.

To preview starting from a specific block:

1. Navigate to the storyboard view of your lesson.
2. Select the three vertical dots button in the top right-hand corner of a block tile. 
3. Select Preview from the drop-down.

❗ Note: Previewing in this way will not open a new tab in your browser.

To preview from the editor view of a block:

1. Navigate to the editor view of your lesson.
2. Select the crossed eye button in the top right-hand of the screen.

❗ Note: Previewing in this way will not open a new tab in your browser.

To exit back to the editor view:

1. Select the Open in editor button in the top right-hand of the screen to return to the editor view.

To exit back to the storyboard view:

1. Select the '<' button in the top left-hand of the screen to return to the storyboard view.
