Welcome! If you've been invited to join an Academy on HowToo, and are wondering where to start you're in the right place. Here is a quick guide to understanding your Learning Academy dashboard.

Learning dashboard

The learning dashboard is the first thing you will see when you log into your account, and it is the default view for learners.

Here, you can see your courses, categorised by two headings; Jump back in and For you

• Jump back in and continue courses you have already started.
• For you is all the courses available to you.

Select the carousel scroll buttons to view more, or select See all to view more.

From the See all you can search and filter your courses to find specific courses.

Launching your course

Courses are made up of lessons and resources.

To begin, select the course you’d like to complete. An overlay will appear, showing all the lessons and resources included in that course.

Click on a lesson to get started.
If you’ve already started the lesson before, you’ll be asked whether you’d like to continue from where you left off or restart the lesson from the beginning.

Progress status

Each course on your learning dashboard displays:

• Your progress percentage

• Your completion status

• Your assessment score

These indicators help you track how far you’ve come and what’s left to complete.

Completing your lessons and courses

Once your lesson is launched, you can start navigating through the content at your own pace.

To complete a lesson, you typically need to:

• View every page of the lesson, and

• Pass the assessment at the end of the lesson.

To complete a course you typically need to complete all lessons in that course.

Pausing, saving, and exiting

You can pause and exit a lesson at any time - your progress will be saved so you can pick up right where you left off.

To save and exit your lesson:

1. Select the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-right corner of the course screen.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and choose Save and exit.

3. Confirm by selecting Save and exit again.

You can return to your lessons anytime by relaunching your course from the learning dashboard.

At the end of a lesson, you’ll also be prompted to Save and exit before closing.
