Create richer learning experiences with the media library, where you can upload and use images, video, audio, captions, and more.

This guide shows you how you can add and manage media in your lessons.

Access the media library

You can access the media library in two ways:

From the dashboard

1. Go to the dashboard view.
2. Select 'Media library' from the left-hand sidebar.

From the lesson editor view

1. Open a lesson in editor view by hovering over a block and clicking 'EDIT BLOCK'.
2. Select a media element within a block.
3. Select 'Browse library' from the left-hand panel.

Upload media files to the media library

Uploading files to the media library makes them available to use across your lessons. Your media library is shared with other creators and admins on your account.

You can upload files from the dashboard or within the editor.

From the dashboard

1. Select 'Media library' from the left-hand sidebar.
2. Select 'Upload' or drag and drop your file into the library.
3. Choose a file from your computer, then select 'Open'.

From the lesson editor view

1. Open a lesson in editor view by hovering over a block and clicking 'EDIT BLOCK'.
2. Select a media element within a block.
3. Select 'Browse library' from the left-hand panel.
4. Select 'Upload' or drag and drop your file into the library.
5. Choose a file from your computer, then select 'Open'.

 ⭐ Tip: You can upload or drag and drop multiple files in the media library.

Use the inbuilt stock image library

Every HowToo account contains an inbuilt stock image library, giving you access to millions of royalty-free stock images via our API with Pexels.com.

Access and insert stock images

1. Select a media element within a block.
2. Select 'Browse library' from the left-hand panel.
3. Select 'Stock media' in the left-hand sidebar.
4. Search for stock images by using keywords in the search bar.
