All lessons follow one of two different basic structures - single topic or multi-topic.
Single topic lessons are linear in structure. Blocks are placed in a single sequence that learners must follow from start to end. The assessment section immediately follows the learning sections.
They're great for small pieces of learning with a single focus, such as how to perform a specific action or process. It also lets you deliver the same learning experience to everyone, every time.
Multi-topic lessons have a non-linear structure. They have a home screen from which learners can access multiple sections or branches of the lesson as they need. They can repeat sections if they desire, allowing them to revisit material before attempting the assessment section.
These lessons are better for tackling more complex topics, as they allow the learner to navigate forward and backward as they need. They’re great for breaking down and tying together interwoven concepts within broader topics.
