Uploading SCORM 1.2 lessons
A SCORM 1.2 lesson allows you to integrate interactive and trackable eLearning content into your courses that was not created in HowToo.
To upload a SCORM 1.2 lesson:

Navigate to the ‘Courses’ page
- Go to the Courses section in your dashboard.

Select course settings
- Click on Manage to open the course settings or select New Course to create a new course.

Access the ‘Lessons’ tab
- Navigate to the Lessons tab within the course settings.

Upload SCORM 1.2 package
- Click on Upload Lesson and select SCORM 1.2 from the dropdown menu.
- Browse your computer to locate the SCORM 1.2 package file (usually a ZIP file).
- Select the file and click Open or Upload to start the upload process.
- Alternatively, select a previously uploaded SCORM file from your media library.

Configure lesson settings
- After uploading, configure the following settings:
- Title: Name your lesson appropriately.
- Thumbnail: Upload an image to represent the lesson.

Save and publish
- Click Add as Lesson and then Publish to Academy to finalize the addition of the SCORM lesson to your course and push any changes to your Learning Academy.

Review the lesson
- To check the lesson’s functionality, select the Preview Icon to view the lesson.

Test the SCORM lesson
- It’s recommended to allocate the course to yourself to verify that the content loads correctly and that tracking features are working as expected.
Troubleshooting common issues
- SCORM package not uploading: Ensure that the SCORM package is not corrupted and is in the correct format (ZIP file).
- Lesson not displaying correctly: Verify that the SCORM package complies with SCORM 1.2 standards and is correctly configured.
- Tracking issues: Check that the SCORM package includes necessary tracking settings.
Limitations
Please note the following limitations when using SCORM 1.2 lessons:
- Analytic graphs and certificates: Features like analytic graphs and certificates may not function as expected.
- Nested folders: SCORM packages with nested folders containing an Index.html file may not launch correctly. We only support the launch of SCORM packages at the root level.
- Progress tracking: SCORM 1.2 does not provide detailed progress tracking, so tracking of lesson progress and reporting in the Academy is limited.
