Re-allocate courses

HowToo now supports course re-allocation. This feature allows you to automatically re-allocate a course to learners after a set period. This is useful for compliance courses that need to be completed again at a scheduled time.

With this feature, you can:

• Set the course to be re-allocated automatically, for instance, exactly one year later
• Choose a specific date for the re-allocation
• Notify all learners via email when the course is re-allocated.

This article will guide you through the set up and management of this feature.

This feature is available on Pro plans and can be accessed by Creators, Admins, and Primary Admins. To use this feature:

1. Go to Courses.
2. Locate the course you would like to re-allocate, then select  ‘Manage’.
3. In the Completion tab, go to the Course re-allocation section.
4. Tick the box next to ‘Auto re-allocate this course’.

From here, you can then set how often you want to re-allocate the course:

• Setting it to one year means it will be re-allocated on the same day next year.
• If set on a specific date, it will be re-allocated on a specific date.
• You can also choose whether to notify all learners via email.

Important

• Re-allocating a course resets the learner’s completion status.
• Re-allocating a course after a year usually applies to completed learners. When a fixed date is selected, it applies to all learners, even those in progress.
