A block is a single page in a lesson. Blocks are combined to making a lesson. Blocks come in different types and layouts.
Block types refer to blocks with the same elements and functionality. For example, a block containing video would be categorised under the block type ‘Video’. You cannot change a block type once you have created it.
Block layouts refer to the specific arrangement of elements within a block. For example, a block under the block type ‘Multiple choice’ might have a block layout name of ‘Multiple choice image right’. You can switch between block layouts at any time, as long as it is the same type of block.
