Adding audio transcripts to audio pieces

Audio transcripts are a text description of audible content, such as written dialogue. They make aural content accessible for individuals with hearing impairments, as well as for people who need to listen in quiet or loud environments without headphones.

When writing a transcript, is it important to present a clear and accurate representation of the audio content. While you do not need to transcribe every "Um" and "Ah", make sure you are clearly indicating who is speaking and if there are any additional sounds, such as music or effects.

Who can use this feature?

To add an audio transcript:

1. Navigate to the editor view of your block.
2. Select the audio section of your block.
3. Select the speech bubble icon in the audio bar.
4. Select the pop-out text-entry box.
5. Add your transcript.
