This guide shows you how to create and use flip cards to make learning more interactive.
Create a flip card block
- Navigate to the storyboard view of your lesson.
- Select 'Add new block'
- Select the 'Interaction' drop-down in the left-hand sidebar.
- Select 'Flip card'. The library will display available block layouts that include flip cards.
- Select 'Preview' to view the block layout without creating it.
- Select 'Choose block' to finalize your choice.
Add text and images to flip cards
- Navigate to the editor view of your click and reveal block.
- Select the flip card section of the block.
- Select the headings or images directly to edit them.
- Select the circular arrow to flip the card.
- In the reverse side, select the heading or body text directly to edit them.
Add new flip cards
- Navigate to the editor view of your flip card block.
- Select the flip card section of the block.
- In the left-hand side bar, roll your mouse over over the existing flip card pieces.
- Select one of the blue '+' buttons.
Rearrange order of flip cards
- Navigate to the editor view of your flip card block.
- Select the flip card section of the block.
- In the left-hand sidebar, select the card you wish to move.
- Drag it up or down the sidebar to rearrange it's position and drop it into place.
Delete or duplicate a flip card
- Navigate to the editor view of your flip card block.
- Select the flip card section of the block.
- In the left-hand sidebar, select the three vertical dots button next to the heading you wish to delete or duplicate.
- Select 'Delete' or 'Duplicate' from the drop-down.
