Web objects are an interactive block that lets you embed a range of content, including simulations, directly into your course.

This guide shows you how to create and use web objects to embed external content in your lessons.
Create a web object block
- Navigate to the storyboard view of your lesson.
- Select 'Add new block'
- Select the 'Interaction' drop-down in the left-hand sidebar.
- Select 'Web object'. The library will display available block layouts that include web objects.
- Select 'Preview' to view the block layout without creating it.
- Select 'Choose block' to finalize your choice.
Add a file to a web object block
- Navigate to the editor view of your click and reveal block.
- Select the web object section of the block.
- In the left-hand sidebar, toggle to 'File'.
- Use the media library to upload a .zip or .pdf file.
Add a web page to a web object block
- Navigate to the editor view of your click and reveal block.
- Select the web object section of the block.
- In the left-hand sidebar, toggle to 'URL'.
- In the Web Object URL text entry block, insert your desired web address (URL).
