Audio blocks

Audio is a type of media block. Use this to add depth and personality to your lessons as audio can convey emotions, tone, and nuances in ways that text cannot.

You can choose from a range of audio block types, including multi-column and multiple choice audio, to create more engaging learning experiences.

Create an audio block

1. Navigate to the storyboard view of your lesson.
2. Select 'Add new block'
3. Select the 'Media' drop-down in the left-hand sidebar.
4. Select 'Audio'. The library will display available block layouts that include video.
5. Select 'Preview' to view the block layout without creating it.
6. Select 'Choose block' to finalize your choice.

Add audio to the block

1. Navigate to the editor view, by selecting "Edit block".
2. Select the audio element on the page. This will display different options in the left-hand editor panel.
3. Select the 'X' icon to remove the default audio.
4. Choose to browse the media library or upload a video from your files.
